Morris Diamond

Teacher (1860-1944).  Born in Poland.  Moved to Buffalo in 1889.  Diamond founded a heder in Buffalo in 1889 and taught Hebrew and religion there and in many local synagogues for many years.  Diamond was one of the principal organizers and teachers of the community Talmud Torah school that commenced operations in 1904, which later became the Hebrew Academy of Buffalo, which immediately preceded the present day Kadimah School.
