Harvey Swados Information

Hello,

My name is Greg Geddes and I'm a graduate student at SUNY-Binghamton doing work in American History.  Currently I'm doing research into Harvey Swados and other writers and activists who had Workers' Party links in the 1930s Schachtman, the ISL, and the Left Opposition.

I found your site through a Google search and I had a few questions.  Is there a physical location in Buffalo where I might go to do research on Swados?  Might a Jewish Community Center have any information?  Is there anyone reading this who knew Swados or who would be able to assist me with my research about Swados?  I am planning a trip to Amherst, MA to look at his papers at the University of Massachusetts, but I was wondering whether you could directly point me to any information you think valuable to a Swados scholar that might be located in Buffalo (or anywhere else for that matter)?
