Who Endorsed Kerry?
An endorsement refers to writing something on the back of a check. That is its literal meaning. However, an endorsement can also mean an agreement with the opinion of others. Politicians like to receive the endorsements of those who will help them get elected by the many voters who read such endorsements.
It is therefore significant that the Democratic nominee for President of the United States, Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, has just been endorsed by none other than the former prime minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad.
Mahathir is best known for his speech to the assembled Moslem community representatives from the entire Moslem world. They met in Kuala Lampur on October 16, 2003 to hear Mahathir give a speech in which he denounced Jews, who, he said, “rule the world.”
He also asserted that Jews “get others to fight and die for them.” He means the Iraq war, of course. Now this hater has just advised Americans to vote for Sen. Kerry.
A second endorsement received by Sen. Kerry has just come from Nabil Shaath, foreign minister of Palestine. Shaath said that he is convinced that if Kerry is elected he will favor the views of Arafat, whom Kerry has called a “statesman”.
Meanwhile President Bush has signed the “Global Anti-semitism Review Act”. This act mandates that the State Department keep a record of anti-Jewish behavior throughout the world and that the governmental responses to such acts be recorded as well. This act adds force to President Bush’s denunciation of anti-Jewish behavior in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, as expressed by him on repeated occasions.
Now, who endorsed John Kerry? Well, the anti-Jewish haters, of course. Mukit Hussain, President of “Muslim America”, let it be known that Kerry is not controlled “by the Jews” and that Kerry can be relied upon to change the U.S. foreign policy favoring Israel.
Such a change would no doubt please Rep.Cynthia McKinney, Democrat from Georgia, who denounced Israel and Jews on the floor of Congress regularly and demands that our government no longer support Israel financially or militarily. Such a change would also please the former Grand Master of the Ku Klux Klan, Sen. Robert Byrd, Democrat from West Virginia, and his colleague Sen. Ernest Holling, Democrat from South Carolina, who blames the Iraq war on “pro-Israel interests”.
Then there is the darling of the New York Jewish establishment, Hilary Clinton, Democratic Senator from New York, who kissed Mrs. Yasser Arafat after sitting by while Mrs. A. claimed in medieval fashion that “the Jews are poisoning the wells” with radioactive substances. Mrs. Clinton also uses anti-Jewish curses on a regular basis.
Of course, Sen. Kennedy of Massachusetts, also a Democrat, cannot overcome his anti-Jewish upbringing in the home of his father, Joe Kennedy, an admirer of Hitler who was canned as ambassador to England because he was too cozy with “Der Fuhrer”.
We also find that the former candidate for the nomination for President of the United States, Al Sharpton, stood in front of a Jewish owned store in Brooklyn and called Jews “blood suckers” until his followers burned down the “Jew store”.
Further leaders of the civil rights movement, such as the Rev. Jesse Jackson, call New York “hymie town” while others let it be known that Jews who died in the voter registration drives of the 1960’s (Schwerner etc) are “paint on the wall”.
Finally, John Kerry has been endorsed by the foreign British newspaper The Manchester Guardian. That paper has publicly called for the assassination of President Bush and wrote: "John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr., where are you now that we need you?"
There can be little doubt that the Democratic Party is today the home of America’s most virulent bigots and Jew-baiters. Like their predecessor Franklin Roosevelt, who would not even let one ship full of German Jewish refugees into this country and sent them to their deaths in Europe, the current haters have the full loyalty of the Jewish community.
Now Kerry has made no comment about any of this. He has also refused to answer any questions concerning Israel during the Presidential debates. He refused to criticize the U.N. actions against Israel and he refused to denounce European attacks against Jewish institutions and Jewish people.
His only “idea” in all of this is the crazy notion, as told to Tim Russert on NBC, that he would insert American troops between Israel and the Palestinian terrorists. That would lead to the deaths of American soldiers, for which “the Jews” would of course be blamed.
All told, we see that a Jew who votes for Kerry votes for a terrible future for the Jewish people here and abroad.
Think about it.
