The Muslim Assault on Western Civilization

Symbiosis is a Greek word meaning “living together”. This expression comes to mind in view of the refusal of our President, George W. Bush, to deal with the Palestinian terrorist Arafat. President Bush has demanded that the so-called “Palestinians”, i.e. the Arab immigrants to Israel, develop a democratic government, free of terrorism, financially responsible and willing to live in peace with Israel. These are then the demands of the U.S.A. and of Israel. The reasons for this unity of vision, or symbiosis, are of course the mutual values upon which our country and Israel rest. These similar values are also the reasons for the hatred shown both the United States and Israel by the Muslim world and its European allies.

Six principle targets of this hatred have been identified by observers of the Euro/Arab alliance. First among these are the large American cities like New York, which our enemies view as symbols of trade, heterogeneous populations, personal freedom and sexual liberty. All these attributes are seen as the epitome of the capitalistic meritocracy which the feudal traditions of the Muslims and the socialist Europeans cannot afford and therefore denounce.

The second target of the Euro/Muslim hatred are the mass media, commercialism and perpetual advertising, television, “pop” music and video. All this is contrasted by the Europeans and their Muslim friends with traditional, primary relationships in large families and with Beethoven and Mozart.

The third reason for the hatred of Israel and the U.S.A. by the Euro/Arab alliance is the enormous achievement of Israel and the U.S.A. in the area of technology and science. In proportion to its size, Israel is the second most important scientific country on earth. Even if we overlook the fact that Israel is smaller than New Jersey, it is still a vast scientific enterprise. Progress, efficiency and know-how are all despised by the Muslim world, who want to live in the 14^th century (Remember that the prophet Mohammed was born in 570 and died in 632). The Europeans are of course well versed in science. However, they have lost the lead to the U.S.A., so that anyone who is anyone in European science comes here and never returns.

The fourth reason for the jealous hatred of Israel and the U.S.A. by the Arab/Muslim/ European “axis” is our ability to live in security instead of playing the suicide heroes who prefer death to life. Nothing is less Jewish or less American than to despise life and prefer death. Yet, not only the homicide bombers, but even the European “heroes” are all “martyrs” in this cause and that.

The Arabs and Muslims, and even many Europeans, cannot tolerate that the average American lives in freedom. It need not be illustrated that there is not now nor has there ever been freedom for the average person in any Muslim land. The tyrants who govern these 1 billion people are frightened out of their wits of the American/Israeli example. Israel is right in the middle of the Arab dictatorships. However, television permits the people in these countries to witness Israeli elections. In fact, the internet and TV also allow these slaves to see American politics and American freedom to criticize and to express any opinion. Here too, the Europeans have a problem. Indeed, the parliamentary democracies of Europe are not dictatorships. However, tradition dictates that Europeans jump when the cops whistle, that Europeans never truly criticize government bureaucrats, that bosses behave like little Caesars and that private tyranny is almost universal.

The greatest anger of the Arab/Muslim/ European alliance is directed at the American and Israeli emancipation of women. Nothing infuriates the Muslim men more than the view of Israeli and American women leading an independent life. In fact, the very sight of women wearing form fitting clothes, holding rank in an armed service or even possessing a driver’s license threatens the male dominance of 500 million Muslim men. European women are by no means as free either in fact or in law as American women.

Fear of American hedonism is closely allied with all these hatreds. Yet, all these haters know that they are driven by jealousy of American and Jewish success.

All this is featured by the establishment on July 1, 2002 of the so-called International War Crimes Tribunal. This “tribunal” was organized by the Arab/European alliance. The pretense here is that the “tribunal” will try war criminals in a fashion reminiscent of the Nazi war criminals tried in Nürnberg in 1946.

The truth is otherwise. The purpose of this new “war crimes tribunal” is to designate all Israelis and Americans “war criminals”. Of course, Ariel Sharon and George W. Bush head the list. In addition, however, any American soldier serving in a peace-keeping position around the world is a “war criminal”. None of our constitutional guarantees are known to that “tribunal”. Everyone “tried” there is of course guilty in the first place and defenseless besides. In the European tradition, the judge acts as prosecutor. Now imagine any Jew coming before such a “tribunal” including Arab judges.

In view of the utter contempt for fairness and rational judgment by this tribunal and the one now pretending to “try” Slobodan Milosovich in the Hague, President Bush has rescinded the signature of Bill Clinton to the treaty pertaining to this kangaroo court. Nether we, nor Israel, nor Russia are parties to this phony agreement. In fact, the House and the Senate have passed a law providing that if any American is seized by this “court” then our armed forces must come to the rescue of that citizen.

We see, then, that decency and morality are not dead. They rest in our country, the U.S.A., and they originated with Israel, our closest ally, who has taught some of the world the decalogue still rejected by the enemies of the Jewish and American people. May they too stand at Sinai and hear those ten commandments for their own good and the salvation of the world.
