Trump & the Jews

Commentary by Dr. Ursula A. Falk

Why Do We Jewish People Hate Ourselves?

For nearly an eternity of searching, we have finally found a President of the United States who likes the Jewish population as much as he does  all other Americans. He treats people for who they are and how much they can accomplish for the American people.  He carefully chooses folk who are intelligent, capable, and decent, and will see folk who are honest, capable, and willing to do their job regardless of their color, but only of their ability to care for the folks that they serve.

Mr. Trump is doing everything in his power to seek those who are honest and reliable.  He is a competent businessman who has brought his abilities to bear to create healthy businesses with capable people. He has learned much from his father and others in his surroundings.

In this world, in this country, and in this century, it is important to have an excellent business ability, which fortunately our current leader has.  There are many who are jealous of his ability and belittle him as much as they can.  We, the public, the voters, must consider our leader’s abilities and not shout or vote against him for frivolous reasons.  His strength and abilities will ultimately help the public.  Already we have more jobs, better abilities, less anger from folks who were afraid to try their talents, and more healthy job opportunities.  Let us not be angry or afraid of a man who is competent and rational.  Much of the anger that we have found is because of the usual jealousy that plagues the competent.  Let us be glad when folk have jobs, better pay, and more offers than they have an opportunity to accept.

With respect to the Jews, our current president moved our embassy to Jerusalem, reimposed sanctions on our enemies such as Iran, despite the fact that we voted 2/3 against him.  Polls indicate that it is still the case that most American Jewish voters support Democrats when the Democrats did none of those things when they last had power, but in fact mistreated us.  The question is, why do we support those who hate us and oppose those who are good to us?  It’s time to stop self-hatred!!
