Congregation B'rith Israel used the above structure from 1912 to 1947, when it moved to a Hertel Avenue storefront near Delaware in North Buffalo.  Shortly thereafter, it merged with Congregation Anshe Emes and erected a new building for Congregation B'rith Israel - Anshe Emes on Hertel Avenue.
